This kid i knew was showing off his skillz at this PSP game called Dj Max Portable. It's a Korean rhythm game that's been out for a long time now, where it plays a song and you have to provide the accompanying beats by matching the dropping "bricks" to the right buttons. If you hit the right buttons, the song goes well, if not, it shuts down and tells you "You Need More Practice!"
This kid went nuts on his psp - fingers going at the speed of light and everything. It was insane! He played this one song blind, in 8button mode!!
Amazed at his nimble fingers, this old lady decided to give it a shot on one of the easier tracks. All I could do was STARE as the bricks fell. Annoyed, I got Dj Max Portable 2 and hah! I'm working it now!! Well, barely...
You know you're spending too much time in front of the computer when...
the network was down at work today so i picked up some reading material (a physical book). when i got to the end of the first page, instead of flipping it, i reached for my mouse and started scrolling.
So. I've been nagged into paying USD$29.90 every three months for a game I think is retarded. My brother insists I play. (Big LOTR fan) How can I say no to precious time online with my baby brother? Before anyone says anything about real-life get togethers and getting out more often - we don't live in the same country, that's why i caved.
Anyway. If you're wondering why it's USD$29.90 for three months and not the usual more expensive per month price, it's because of a special Holiday Package subscription that you must sign up for by Jan 31st (which is today). It's no longer on the main page, but if you sign in with your account, there's an option to take up the Holiday Package if you do it NOW. Sorry if you missed it. There's the 7-day free trial you can use to see for yourself if the game IS retarded.
Testing the BlogIt! function and also to say... i did find it strange when i first clicked on My Network to find a whole bunch of people I didn't know. Thought it would be empty since i hadn't added any friends yet since it's supposed to be "My" network.
"Here is what the user code-named i.l. (I know the name and the person but thought that maybe he would prefer to stay anonymous here?) had to say about Profy networking functionality:"
Remember that dude who proposed to his woman in Halo 3? He made a custom map and fashioned the words "Will you marry me?" with weapons. (the same way you make words with pebbles or seashells on the beach) She said yes, in case you're wondering.
1800-flowers is running a 'Will You Marry Me?' contest with Youtube. You film yourself 'popping the question' and post it on youtube for the love of your life to see. Winner gets "Fame...a diamond ring...white sandy beaches... first-class travel... fresh flowers for a year... "
So, I've been following the OpenSocial forums for abit now and still waiting on 1.0. =( Anyone feel like the devs are just talking about the same things over and over again?
Take a look at this random hit on Youtube. This is too funny. What's funnier, are the comments. Take the jump to read the comments. If you can make sense of this vid, please... enlighten me.
[edit] Just found out that she's actually doing a dance from a game called Idolm@ster. It's an RPG where you level your pop-star to gain fans. -.- [/edit]
